But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.
Prayer
Master, teach me that my neighbors are not only those whom we like, but also those whom we dislike; not only those whom we love, but also those whom we despise; not only those whom we can forgive, but also those whom we feel should never be forgiven. Amen.
