Message from Padre Pio
I also told these souls that they are God's vineyard. The water supply is faith; the tower is hope; the wine press is holy charity, and the hedge is the law of God that separates them from the children of the world.
Reflection
Do I belong to God's vineyard? Am I nurtured by my faith, inspired by hope, and called to selflessness by charity?

John 15:5-6,9-12
I am the vine, you are the branches. Whomever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned. ... As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy might be in you and your joy might be complete. This is my commandment: love one another as I love you.
Prayer
My dearest Lord, I have long since asked for answers to my prayers. Let me now be an answer to someone else's prayer. Amen.
